TOPIC:  ALL ABOUT PERMITTING

SPEAKER UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE: 

In addition to guest speaker Joe Scoggins, Senior Building Inspector for the town of Forest City, Ryan Cody, inspector for all of Western NC licensing board for general contractors and Erin Yochem, Development and Code Services Technician will be on hand at the annual meeting to answer your questions about permitting.  Their presentations will help you understand what needs a permit, when and why.

The meeting will be held September 14 from 11:30am-1:00pm at Isothermal Community College in Spindale in Room 137 of the Business Science Building.  

The CDC has removed restrictions relating to Covid in terms of social distancing.  If you want to attend but are not completely comfortable interacting, please come wearing a mask and we will do our best to set aside a section of the room for you.

Pizza and beverages will be provided for your pleasure.  

The cost to attend is FREE, but we do request you RSVP for planning purposes.  You are encouraged to invite guests and non-members to attend as well.
